Celebrated Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma married his long-time beau and manager Ritika Sajdeh back in 2015, and three years later, in 2018, the couple was blessed with a daughter whom they named Samaira.

Recently, Rohit Sharma and Ritika hosted a birthday bash for Samaira before the Indian captain flew to South Africa for a two-game test series. But since the celebration took place a few days before Samira's actual birth date, the couple once again celebrated their daughter's fifth birthday in South Africa earlier today.

However, interestingly, Rohit's Mumbai Indians teammates Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav joined the Sharma family's low-key celebrations in Cape Town. While Tilak flew all the way to Cape Town to attend Samaira's birthday celebrations, SKY joined the bash via video call as he is currently in rehab in the United Kingdom.

The images and videos capture the joyous occasion as Tilak Verma and SKY join in the festivities, celebrating the special day with Rohit Sharma's family.

To those unversed, Samaira gets along with Tilak Verma really well. When the batter scored his first international fifty, he dedicated it to Rohit's daughter through a special celebration.

That being said, the off-field camaraderie between teammates is a heartwarming sight for cricket fans. The mutual love and respect for one another's family suggests how the players get emotionally connected to one another over time.

While the celebrations provided a moment of relief for Rohit Sharma, he has limited time to relax next week. Under his leadership, the Indian side suffered a brutal defeat against South Africa in the Centurion test.

Moreover, with the series on the lineup, Rohit Sharma and co will be under intense pressure the next time they set foot in Cape Town for the second and final test of the two-game crucial series.

Rohit Sharma, in particular, has not been able to stand out for his team. Besides failure with the bat, Sharma has come under scrutiny over his bizarre display of captaincy skills during the first test.
