Rohit Sharma, currently in South Africa for India’s two-match Test series, celebrated the fifth birthday of his daughter Samaira before flying to the Rainbow Nation. He, along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh, recently took to their Instagram account where they shared a minute-long video of Samaira’s birthday celebration at a children’s playground.

Rohit Sharma took to his Instagram account to share highlights of his daughter Samaira’s birthday celebration, also seemingly attended by some of the cricketer’s close friends. In the video, Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh can be seen engaging in fun activities with their daughter at a children’s playground.

In the caption of his post, he wrote: "Happiest birthday to our Sammy. We love you so much. May you always dance to your own beat and light up every time you see an animal. Watching you grow has been the biggest joy in our lives ♥️"

Rohit Sharma recently turned up for Team India at Centurion for the first Test of their two-match series. Making a comeback to the Indian team following the conclusion of the 2023 World Cup, the legendary opening batsman failed to inspire his troops as the visitors slumped to a huge defeat by an innings and 32 runs.

Sharma himself could manage to score just five in the first Indian innings before the Indian captain was castled by Kagiso Rabada for a duck on Day 3. He will now be seen leading his side in the series-deciding second Test match, set to be played between January 3 and January 7. The much-awaited New Year’s Test will be hosted by the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town.
