The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Junior Selection Committee has named a 17-player squad for the upcoming India Under-19 tour of Australia. The India Under-19 team is scheduled to tour Australia and face hosts in a series of three 50-overs matches and two multi-day fixtures between September 21 and October 10.

Under the leadership of CSK star Ayush Mhatre, the India Under-19 team also toured England earlier this month, winning the Youth ODI series 3-2 and levelling a hard-fought Youth Test series with two draws.

On Wednesday, July 30, i.e., nearly two months before the Australia tour, the BCCI named a strong 17-player squad for the multi-format series ‘Down Under’. Several Indian stars who excelled in the recently-concluded tour of England managed to retain their places in the side, with CSK luminary Ayush Mhatre set to reprise his role as India Under-19 captain.

Rajasthan Royals dynamite and teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi will also be travelling to Australia alongside the likes of fellow in-form performers like Naman Pushpak, vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra and Aditya Rawat. Here is a look at the entire India Under-19 squad for the upcoming tour of Australia:
