In a significant development, Melbourne Renegades has drafted promising seamer David Moody into their squad for the Big Bash League starting December 13.

Moody joins Renegades camp as a cover for Zak Evans, who will miss the action until mid-January due to a pectoral injury.

Mr James Rosengarten welcomed Moody to the club, explaining how his current form would be a boon for the Men in Red.

Here's what Rosengarten said

"David’s a ready-made fast bowling option, who has been around the Big Bash for a number of seasons,

"He’s in good form right now and we’re confident he’s someone who will add to our group and be able to do a job with the ball if called upon throughout the tournament."

Notably, the West-Australian seamer has represented Hobart Hurricanes and Perth Scorchers in the past. However, he has had a fruitful First-Class career so far, scalping 110 wickets in 36 appearances.
