The ICC has announced the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Team of the Tournament. 3 players from the winning team, India, found a place in a star-studded line-up.

A total of six players from the World Cup final between India and South Africa have been included, with India’s victorious trio, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Deepti Sharma, all earning their well-deserved places.

Smriti Mandhana was a pillar of consistency at the top, finishing as the second-highest run-scorer of the tournament with 434 runs.

Jemimah Rodrigues, meanwhile, played one of the most memorable innings of the tournament, a match-winning 127* against Australia in the semi-final that propelled India into the final.

With 292 runs at an average of 58.40, Rodrigues proved why she’s one of the brightest young stars in world cricket.

But it was Deepti Sharma who stole the spotlight. Named Player of the Tournament, the all-rounder led the bowling charts with 22 wickets and also chipped in with valuable runs, including a heroic 5/39 and 58 with the bat in the final against South Africa.

South Africa’s captain, Laura Wolvaardt, who scored a record-breaking 571 runs, was named the skipper of the Team of the Tournament.

Her centuries in both the semi-final and final cemented her reputation as one of the finest batters in the modern game.

She’s joined by teammates Marizanne Kapp and Nadine de Klerk, both of whom delivered standout all-round performances throughout the tournament.

From Australia, Ashleigh Gardner, Annabel Sutherland, and Alana King earned selection for their exceptional contributions, while England’s Sophie Ecclestone and Nat Sciver-Brunt also found a place. Pakistan’s Sidra Nawaz rounded out the XI as the wicket-keeper.
