Karun Nair will look to lead from the front

Mysore Warriors (MW) will cross swords with Shivamogga Strikers (SS) in the second match of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2022, set to be played at Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadeyar Ground in Mysore on Sunday, August 7.

Karun Nair has been given the captaincy charge of Mysore Warriors in the tournament and the experienced top-order batter will look to capitalize on all his international experience to help his side prosper.

Shivamogga Strikers, on the other hand will be led by the LSG all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham. With some experienced campaigners in their ranks, the Strikers, too, will be keen to kick start their tournament on a winning note.

Krishnappa Gowtham, the off spinner and hard-hitting lower-order batter has got an impressive record in T20s. With the ball, he has got 53 wickets in 71 innings, while with the blade, he has slashed 610 runs in 54 innings.
