LSG Sensation Earns Praise From Hardik Pandya For U19 World Cup 2024 Heroics

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) star and India Under-19 opener Arshin Kulkarni pumped out a match-winning century against USA in their final Group A match of the 2024 U19 World Cup. The all-round prodigy produced 108 runs from just 118 balls to set up India’s 326-run total upfront.

Notably, the Maharashtra-based cricketer also punched out a sizzling 32 against Ireland, and picked up a crucial wicket against Bangladesh Under-19 earlier in the tournament.

Arshin’s recent all-round efforts has earned him some unique praise from India’s white-ball vice-captain Hardik Pandya.

Hardik Pandya heaps praise on young Arshin Kulkarni

Senior Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya recently acknowledged Arshin Kulkarni’s splendid Under-19 World Cup 2024 performance and praised the youngster through a post on Instagram story. 

“Excellent performance yesterday Arshin. Congratulations and my best wishes for your future. Good choice on the number too,” Pandya wrote. 

Back in December 2023 during the IPL 2024 auction event in UAE, Arshin Kulkarni was acquired by the LSG franchise for the forthcoming IPL season. Poised to make his IPL debut this year, the youngster will be joining the likes of modern-day legends KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran as well as former India Under-19 star Ravi Bishnoi in the LSG setup.

As of now, Arshin Kulkarni is slated to represent the Under-19 Indian team in their Super Six Group 1 game against their New Zealand counterparts. The much-awaited fixture will be hosted by the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein on January 30.
