KKR's Impact Player Fails to Make Impact as DC Bowlers Demolish KKR

Delhi Capitals came into their sixth game of the season against KKR with a season on the line, having lost their opening five games and made an absolute statement with a dominating bowling performance.

Both the teams made flurry of changes into their playing XI but DC just was on the mark straightaway while KKR batters just could not apply themselves. Roy who played his first game of IPL 2023 was the lone warrior and scored 43 off 39 balls as rest of the batters just could not give him any support. Roy, however, finally departed in the 15th over as Kuldeep got the better of him and KKR and then went onto outfox KKR's Impact Player - Anukul Roy on the very first deliver to make it two in two. 

Eventually KKR were reduced to 96-9 in the 16th over with Nortje picking his second wicket in the form of Umesh Yadav and at the time of writing, KKR are 104-9 in the 18th over with Russell trying to salvage some pride for his team.

Earlier, Ishant Sharma made a rollicking comeback in the IPL with two wickets while Axar and Mukesh Kumar also picked crucial wickets to put DC on top of the game right from the start.
