The IPL 2025 is all set to kick-off with defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders going up against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. However, ahead of the clash, the rain has started to pour in Kolkata and the covers have been brought on to cover the Eden Gardens.

There is also 80 percent chance of rain on the match day, and it means that the first game of IPL 2025 might get completely washed out. There is Orange Alert in Kolkata on the day of the game, and if the weather prediction turns true, there is bound to be disappointment for cricket fans.
