Meanwhile, ahead of the T20I series, the Lankan lions have suffered a massive setback, with Chameera being ruled out of the entire tour.
According to a prominent Sri Lankan journalist, the speedster has sustained an injury and hence won't participate in the series. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will soon announce a replacement for him.
Despite being incredibly talented, Chameera's cricketing career has frequently been marred by multiple injury setbacks.
The 32-year-old, who debuted in 2015, has scalped 143 wickets in 12 Tests, 52 ODIs and 55 T20Is combined.
As he has been ruled out, one of Asitha Fernando and Pramod Madushan might take his place in the T20I squad.
