Jos Buttler is one of the finest white-ball batters of this generation and will be leading England in the all-important T20 World Cup 2024 scheduled to start on 2nd of June. Now, ahead of the tournament, Buttler has reached an important milestone by becoming the first England batter to cross 3000-run mark in T20Is.

In the 2nd T20I between England and Pakistan, Jos Buttler smashed 84 off just 51 balls and played a big role in England's win over Pakistan. Buttler is now the ninth highest run-scorer in T20Is and has scored 3011 runs in 106 innings with an average of 35.42 and a strike rate of 145.10.

Buttler also has one century to his name in T20Is and will be a key player for England as they try to defend their title this time around.

Before IPL, Buttler was playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024 where he smashed two centuries and would be itching to continue his form in the marquee event. England have taken a  1-0 lead in the four-match T20I series after the first game was washed out in Leeds.

The third game of the series will be played at Cardiff and let's see how the English captain goes about his business in the remaining two games.
