As we head into the much-anticipated World Cup, the poor-quality seating at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium has become a negative focal point. Seats are currently infested with bird poo which depicts the pathetic condition of the stadium to the fans who are looking forward to seeing 3 crucial World Cup clashes.

A total of three World Cup games will be played at this venue. But the horrible condition of the seats at the Uppal stadium has shaken the BCCI to its core. Pakistan and Netherlands are slated to take on each other on October 6. With a little over 24 hours away, the ground authorities at Uppal stadium will have to shift their focus solely on cleaning the seats and making them available for fans to sit and enjoy the matches.

The terrible condition of the seats is surely bound to create a negative impression on the fans who are eagerly anticipating the World Cup action to unfold. Previously, the venue also hosted two warm-up fixtures featuring teams like Pakistan, New Zealand, and Australia.

Cricket commentator cum analyst C Venkatesh was present at the ground during the ongoing warm-up clash between Australia and Pakistan. He took to his Twitter account to post the disgusting condition of the seats along with his ticket pass confirming that the picture was taken at the same venue.
