The ECB has announced that England will field a largely unchanged squad for the upcoming fourth Ashes test against Australia at Old Trafford, taking place from July 19th to 23rd. However, Ollie Robinson will be unable to participate due to a recurring back spasm injury sustained in the previous Ashes Test. Stepping in as his replacement is the exceptional bowler, James Anderson.

After facing defeats in the first two tests, England bounced back with a narrow three-wicket triumph at Headingley last week. To keep their chances alive in the series, it is crucial for England to secure a victory in the fourth Test at Manchester before moving on to the fifth and final test at the Oval in London.

The upcoming Test would be crucial for Stokes & Co. as they would look to hold down the Aussies for a tie. This test season has been a tough one for Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali as they haven't failed to put forward their best foot. However, there have been some exceptional performances from Skipper Ben Stokes, Ben Duckett and Mark Wood.
