The much-awaited contest between CSK and RR at Chepauk is up and running in full flow and both teams have played some good cricket as the match seems to be quite evenly contested at the moment.

Tushar Deshpande drew first blood in the second over itself when he got rid of the dangerous and in-form Yashasvi Jaiswal. However, Devdutt Padikkal who was promoted to number 3, batted with a positive intent and soon along with Buttler started taking on CSK bowlers with ease. They raced to 57 in the Powerplay and were 86-1 at the end of 8 overs, looking good set for another big score.

However, Jadeja came up with a match-changing 9th over with two wickets in an over - Paddikal and Samson to change the game in CSK's favour again. He would have got the third wicket as well but Moeen Ali failed to hold onto Ashwin's catch in first slip but overall, at the time of writing, CSK have brought things in control. RR are 110-3 at the end of 13 overs.

Sanju Samson, the RR skipper also became the 200th victim of Ravindra Jadeja in T20s and a lot will depend on how Buttler goes about his innings now. He has Ashwin alongside him and with the likes of Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel to follow, RR do have quality in their arsenal to still put up a formidable total.
