In one of the most significant events in India's recent history, the Ram Lalla idol was consecrated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on Monday.

A star-studded event in Ayodhya saw the participation of various celebrities, politicians, and sports stars. While some couldn't make it to the event, they expressed heartfelt sentiments on social media about the Ram Mandir ceremony. Indian wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan joined in, extending his wishes.

Taking to X, here’s what Ishan Kishan wrote: “A historic day and moment of pride and joy for all involved. Jai Shree Ram.”

Kishan has not been picked in the India Test lineup for the upcoming five-match Test series, kicking off on January 25 in Hyderabad. Reports suggested that he made himself unavailable for the home assignment.

The Ranchi wicket-keeper batter had also skipped the two-match Test series against South Africa in the rainbow nation, citing mental fatigue accumulated during extensive travels with Team India and being on the sidelines.
