South Africa will be looking to close the series with a win

Ireland and South Africa will look to settle the score in second and final T20I on 5th August at County Ground in Bristol.

The high-octane clash in the first T20I between the two determined sides ended up in favour of South Africa. Scoring 211 in their 20 overs, the African side displayed quality especially from Reeza Hendricks (74) and Aiden Markram (56).

When the Proteas side came out to bowl, their counterparts didn't hold themselves back and went all in, falling 21 short of the target. Wicketkeeper batter Lorcan Tucker exquisite brilliance putting up 78 from just 38 balls along with George Dockrell who piled up 43 runs.

The South African bowlers exhibited collective effort with everyone claiming at least one wicket. With series at stake, the Irish side would want to ensure they don't let the opportunity go off their hand.

Spotlight: Reeza Hendricks

Reeza Hendricks has been in great form

Knocking up a century on ODI debut, Reeza Hendricks announced himself on the global stage in 2018. 

His class was first on display in the 2008 U-19 World Cup where he played an important role in taking his team to the final of the tournament. Hendricks started his career with Griqualand West and later for Lions in Africa's domestic competitions. 

His consistent performances earned him a place in the National setup. The player played a sublime knock against Ireland in the last game and has been very consistent with the bat as of late. It wouldn't be a surprise if the player steals the spotlight tonight.
