Focus will be on Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have entered the IPL 2026 mini auction with INR 25.50 crore in the bank. They have 10 slots available, including 2 overseas, which will give them the freedom to pursue big signings and specialist roles.

Sunrisers Hyderabad entered the IPL auction with one of the highest purse value. However, the had a totally different auction strategy compared to other teams as the Men in Orange only targeted uncapped players. 

SRH have bought 10 players in the auction, and seven of them are uncapped.  Further, Hyderabad have things sorted with the bat, which is why the think tank focused on bowlers during the auction. 

Their highest buy of the auction was Liam Livingstone whom they bought for 13 crores after an intense bidding war with Lucknow Super Giants. Livingstone, initially went unsold in the first round of the auction, but bought the England talent for 13 crores.

SRH wanted to focus more on the bowlers and that too uncapped, which they successfully managed to do so during the auction.
