In a tense semi-final clash against South Africa where things were not really going according to plan for Team India, they did eventually manage to come out on top thanks to Uday Saharan and Sachin Das. The duo helped India make it to their fifth consecutive final of the Under-19 tournament.

While chasing 245 runs against the quality bowling unit of the Proteas, India were reduced to 32 for 4 and things were not looking that bright. And, that is when skipper Saharan stepped up and stitched a partnership worth 171 with Das. The duo steadied the ship and eventually, the boys in blue came out on top.

This win against South Africa has booked India's slot in their yet another World Cup final. Team India have not only made it to the most consecutive finals, but they are also record winners of the U-19 World Cup having already won it five times.

Over the years, the Under-19 team has featured in a total of 329 ODI matches, and they have managed to win on 237 occasions. They have only suffered 61 defeats to date, it pretty much sums up the kind of dominance India has in the age category.

In the ongoing Under-19 World Cup, Team India are yet to lose a match. They have been involved in 11 matches and have won 10 of those, with the match against Australia ending as 'no result'. They have a chance of going unbeaten and lifting a record sixth title in the age group.
