The Champions Trophy 2025 is just around the corner and with just two months left, there is no official confirmation on the schedule of the entire tournament. However, on Thursday, the ICC officially revealed that the entire event will be held in the hybrid model style.

Now, another ground-breaking development has come up regarding the tentative date for the India Vs Pakistan clash in the Champions Trophy. As per RevSportz, February 23rd has reportedly been finalised as the date for the blockbuster clash.

Earlier, there were reports that the clash of the two teams might take place on March 1, but as per reports, the match has been postponed and will now take place on February 23.

The match was supposed to take place in Pakistan since the Asian side was the host nation, however, India pushed for the hybrid model, and on Thursday, the official confirmation also came up that the event will take place the way India wanted to, but the venue for all India games are yet to be decided.

Sri Lanka to be the likely venue for India

RevSportz also mentioned that Pakistan are pushing for Sri Lanka to be the nation where the other matches will take place. The host nation has the right to choose the hybrid model nation and the Men In Green want the India matches to take place in Sri Lanka.

The venue will allow Pakistan to travel easily for the game against India, since traveling to the Lankan Island won’t take much of time.
