After being in a crunch situation due to financial instability, Cricket Ireland is getting a huge shot in the arm in form of a massive India series that could fill in their coffers.

The tour has been earmarked for August that could see as many as three T20I being played for the very first time between these two sides in a bilateral series.

The news was reported by Cricket Europe who added that matches will take place in Malahide, Dublin during the mid of that month as Ireland, Netherlands and Scotland are planning to hold the inaugural edition of the Euroslam league after that series.

Previously, both these sides were involved in the two-match T20I series last year that saw the visitors claiming victory by 2-0 after winning the second match on the very last delivery.

This series was the first time that all-rounder Hardik Pandya was given the responsibility to captain the national side after leading his IPL team Gujarat Titans to the title in their inaugural season.

India's Ireland tour will happen after their full-fledged tour to West Indies in July where they would be involved in all three formats. Whereas the Irish side would be coming off World Cup Qualifier matches in July.
