India To Face Pakistan On June 9 In T20 World Cup 2024; Here’s The Full Schedule

India will take on Pakistan on June 9 in New York in their Group stage meet-up in the T20 World Cup 2024. The competition, slated to take place in the USA and the West Indies, will begin on June 1, with the USA taking on Canada to kick off the proceedings.

India will begin their campaign on June 5 when they go up against Ireland in New York. After that, the Pakistan fixture will follow, and the USA and Canada will be the Men in Blue’s next opponents, on June 12 and 15. All India’s matches will get underway at 8:30 PM IST.

The groups and fixtures for the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup were confirmed on Friday, January 5, with a total of three USA and six Caribbean venues to be used for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024.


Ten of the twenty teams will play their opening match of the 29-day competition in the United States. The sixteen matches are slated to take place in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York, while the highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan will be at the brand-new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island.


The first semi-final, meanwhile, will take place in Guyana on June 26, whereas the second semi-final will be held in Trinidad a day later. Barbados will host the final of the competition, on June 29.

India are pooled into Group A, alongside Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, and the USA. Group B consists of England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, and Noman, while New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, and PNG are placed in Group C. The other pool, Group D, includes South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Netherlands, and Nepal.
