IND vs ENG | Net Bowler Bamboozles Rohit Sharma's Middle Stump, Works Him Out On Next Ball

The captain of the Indian Cricket Team, Rohit Sharma got out twice off a net bowler's bowling that too on consecutive balls. It happened during a practice session in Rajkot on Tuesday. The third Test match of the series will commence on February 15. Both India and England have won a match each.

Rohit dismissed twice by a net bowler

Rohit was seen interacting with the batters during the net session. He was watching everyone's batting very minutely. In the absence of Virat Kohli, the responsibility on his shoulder is double being the senior most member of the batting lineup. However, the day was not so good for the Mumbai batter as his batting session didn't have a pleasant start.

As reported by the Indian Express, a young pacer who was bowling to the skipper as a net bowler dismantled the middle stump bowling a quick in-swinger. Sharma was surprised with the movement of the ball. A lot must have been going in his head as the series has not been that great for him. The Indian captain again looked helpless nicking a sharp out-swinger off the very next ball.

Getting out twice off a net bowler might not have been enough to disturb the mental toughness of the opener but still it's a matter of concern. He will be eyeing a big score in the Rajkot Test to help India get to a big total. Hopefully, we will see the typical Rohit Sharma slamming his critics in the forthcoming Test.

Meanwhile, England have announced their Playing XI for the Rajkot Test, bringing in speedster Mark Wood instead of off-spinner Shoaib Bashir.
