'If You Need..', Quetta Gladiators Take Dig At England With Epic 'Jason Roy' Tweet

Despite being the defending champions, the England team is not playing like one. In the first four matches, they have lost three and are now in the second-last place of the World Cup 2023 points table. After their devastating defeat against the South African team, PSL's Quetta Gladiators took a cheeky dig at the England team.

Jason Roy, a part of England's preliminary for the World Cup, was left out just before the event, with Harry Brook replacing him. Now, the team is being criticised for dropping one of the chief architects who helped England lift their maiden World Cup title in 2019. Roy had a great run at the 2019 World Cup, scoring 443 runs in just seven innings.

The English fans were disappointed because the management dropped Roy, who was one of their biggest match-winners and could turn things around single-handedly.

Quetta Gladiators trolls England on Twitter

Quetta Gladiators' official page shared a video of Jason Roy smacking bowlers all over the ground. The tweet also suggests the ECB management to pick Roy if they want to boost their batting line-up. Now that Reece Topley has picked up an injury, England is looking for a replacement and coach Matthew Mott has confirmed that Jofra Archer will not be replacing him.

With an option to pick up a player for the remaining games, Jason Roy will be the appropriate candidate for the team and will strengthen their batting line-up as well. A player like him can win matches with standout performances, and that's what England need now as they look to fill the vacant spot.
