In the latest development, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has rebuked former England cricketer-turned-match referee and father of pacer Stuart Broad for posting a meme on David Warner during the 2nd day of the ongoing Leeds Test.

It all happened after Warner once again fell to his nemesis-in-chief Stuart Broad for an eye-watering 17th time in Test match cricket.

Following the dismissal, Stuart's father Chris, who has presided over multiple Ashes series as match-referee, couldn't help himself but to post a meme in which Warner, whose head was transposed into Bart Simpson's body, writing

"Stuart Broad has got me out again."

The meme tweet instantly became viral on Twitter, leading to backlash from certain sections.

While Chris eventually deleted the tweet, sources close to the ICC revealed to Aussie tabloid 'The Age' that the board has internally communicated to the former cricketer that his actions were unbecoming of his stature as match-referee.

Coming back to the dismissal, it was yet another carbon copy of how Stuart has dismissed Warner in the past, with the latter nicking a good length ball from around the wicket into the slip cordon.

Warner has been dismissed thrice by Broad in the ongoing Ashes, including twice in the Leeds Test.

Coming back to the Test match, the third day has been delayed due to persistent rain in Leeds. Australia are currently 142 runs ahead, with six second innings wickets still in their bank.
