The wait is over for Royal Challengers Bangalore fans as Ellyse Perry is back and she made sure her arrival wasn’t just another regular update. The Australian superstar has finally joined the RCB camp ahead of the much-awaited Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season.

RCB Fans Finally Get Their Answer As Perry Joins Camp In Style

After weeks of speculation, social media frenzy and fans losing their minds asking, “Where is Perry?”, the star all-rounder has answered the call in the most Ellyse Perry fashion.

2025 got off to a rough start for Ellyse Perry. During the one-off Ashes Test, she suffered an injury that left RCB fans sweating bullets. She missed the final two hours of England’s first innings and her batting spot at number three was handed over to Annabel Sutherland. Suddenly, questions about her availability for the WPL flooded social media.

As other players trickled into the RCB camp—Smriti Mandhana, Renuka Singh, Heather Knight, Georgia Wareham, and Kim Garth—all eyes remained glued to the team’s updates for a sign of Perry. Each post triggered an avalanche of comments: “When is Perry coming?”, “Where is Perry?”

Perry’s Grand Entry

RCB turned the anticipation into pure entertainment. On Tuesday, they posted a brilliant video that had fans buzzing. The video starts with fans and players all wondering the same thing: “Where is Perry?” One player even makes a call, asking Perry for an update.

Perry’s response? Cool as ever. She casually says she’s “tied up with something” and will see them soon. Just as you think it’s a normal update, Perry smashes through the screen (yes, literally), emerging in a black outfit at the team hotel.

But that’s not all. With a quick spin and smooth transition, Perry swaps her black outfit for the RCB jersey and declares, “I’m here, guys! Let’s do it again!”

Talk about an entrance! Fans were in complete meltdown mode. Comments poured in, with some calling her the GOAT.

RCB ready to defend their title

With Perry back, the defending champions look locked and loaded for WPL 2025. Perry’s stellar performance last season: 347 runs in nine innings and an Orange Cap win was the driving force behind RCB’s maiden title win.

Her brilliant partnership with Smriti Mandhana was a nightmare for bowlers and pure joy for the Chinnaswamy faithful. This season, Perry will once again be the heart of RCB’s batting lineup.

With big names like skipper Smriti, Asha Sobhana, Renuka Singh, Heather Knight, Georgia Wareham and Kim Garth all in top shape, the team looks ready to go all guns blazing.

RCB’s title defense kicks off on February 14 against Gujarat Giants. With their star players in form and Perry’s electric presence back in the squad, fans will be hoping for another magical run.
