Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are gearing up to take on Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 64th IPL 2024 match at Arun Jaitley Stadium on May 14. 

Currently positioned seventh on the points table with 6 wins and 6 losses, LSG are eyeing a victory to bolster their playoffs chances following a humiliating defeat to SRH in their last game. 

In that match, LSG suffered a 10-wicket loss after posting 165 runs, with SRH chasing it down in just 9.4 overs, courtesy of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head's stellar partnership.

After the defeat, tensions arose as reports surfaced of a heated exchange between LSG's team owner and captain KL Rahul, hinting at potential leadership changes. Moreover, KL Rahul was notably absent from the team's travel arrangements ahead of the DC clash. 

Speculations suggest Arshin Kulkarni might replace him, while the rest of the lineup remains unchanged. The absence of KL Rahul might impact LSG's dynamics, but they remain determined to put up a strong fight against DC.
