In a big push to serve the cricket-obsessed Indian-origin audience in Australia, local free-to-air network '7 Plus' has tied up with Star Sports to telecast live an exclusive Hindi commentary feed of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. As part of this deal, Star Sports Hindi commentary for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 will be directly available in live stream for the Australian regional viewers on the 7 Plus platform.
With both teams closing in on final practice sessions ahead of the first Test at Perth scheduled from November 22, Border-Gavaskar Trophy fever has gripped India and Australia. Australian media, meanwhile, is maintaining the hype by publishing Virat Kohli on their front cover pages.
Verbal battles and mind games from the two sides have also started as former cricketers start criticising each other's opinion on public platforms.

In India, the series will be broadcasted live on Star Sports Network channels with Disney+Hotstar confirmed as OTT platform for live streaming.
McSweeney to debut for Australia in Perth Test
Australia released its squad for the Perth Test of the Border Gavaskar series against India, with Josh Inglis and Nathan McSweeney receiving maiden call-ups. McSweeney is expected to open with Usman Khawaja, as Steve Smith will move to the no.4 in Cameron Green's absence.
