In a significant development, the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) announced a formidable squad for the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan. The hosts have made four changes to their combination from the previous series against Australia.
King, Hetmyer, Joseph And Lewis To Miss Pakistan Series
Brandon King, Shimron Hetmyer, Alzarri Joseph and Evin Lewis are all set to miss the T20I series against Pakistan. King and Hetmyer have been sidelined from the series due to side strains which they sustained in the final T20I of the recent five-match series against Australia.
While Joseph has been rested to manage his workload ahead of a jam-packed cricketing season, Evin Lewis has been ruled out due to an injury. The selectors have roped in Johnson Charles, Alick Athanaze, Keacy Carty and Shamar Joseph as the replacements for these players.

As expected, veteran batter Shai Hope has been chosen to lead the team. Apart from the stylish stroke-maker, the Men in Maroon will pretty much rely on Carty, Charles, Sherfane Rutherford and Roston Chase to give the visiting bowlers a run for their money.
Jason Holder and Romario Shepherd will spearhead the all-rounders' department, while Shamar, Akeal Hosein and Gudakesh Motie will play as frontline bowlers.
West Indies will take on Pakistan in six white-ball matches, including three T20Is and ODIs. The T20I matches will be played at Central Broward Regional Stadium Turf Ground in Florida, with the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad, hosting the 50-over fixtures.
