Health Scare For Virat Kohli? RCB Star Asks Sanju Samson To Check Heartbeat Mid-Match

On Sunday, April 13, Rajasthan Royals hosted Royal Challengers Bengaluru for the first match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in the ongoing edition of IPL. It was an afternoon game and all players struggled with the heat, which includes, Virat Kohli.

Talking about Virat, the RCB star had a great day with the bat as Kohli scored an unbeaten 62 (45). Notably, RR, batting first, scored 173/4. Meanwhile, RCB chased down the total in 17.3 overs. Virat, who opened the innings, stayed till the end and there was a lot of running involved that made Virat struggle against the heat. 

Virat Kohli Struggles In Jaipur Heat

Even during the strategic time-outs, Virat had ice-pack on his neck and also drank a lot of fluids. However, there was another act that has sparked health concerns and left the fans worried .

Notably, a video has gone viral on the internet where Virat asked Sanju Samson to check his heartbeat while he was at the striker's end. Sanju adhered to the request and placed a hand on Kohli's chest to examine his heartbeat. Virat soon resumed batting and stayed till the end and won the match for his side.

Despite Virat continuing to bat, the fans were worried and concerned over Kohli's health as he looked dehydrated and was taking deep breaths. RCB will next face PBKS on April 18.
