The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a detailed advisory ahead of the match, which is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM IST. The main aim of this advisory is maintain smooth traffic movement around the stadium.
With both CSK and RR already out of playoff contention, the match this encounter will be more about pride and signing off the season on a high note. While CSK will want to end on a cheerful note for their fans, RR will be aiming to finish strong in their last fixture of the tournament.
Traffic Police Issues Advisory
To ensure public safety and manage the anticipated crowd for CSK vs RR match, the traffic advisory will be effective from 5:30 PM till midnight. The Delhi Police has announced diversions and restrictions on several connecting roads leading to and surrounding the stadium.
Heavy vehicles and buses will not be permitted on: Daryaganj to Bahadurshah Zafar Marg and Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road.
Affected stretches (both carriageways):
- JLN Marg: From Rajghat to Delhi Gate up to Kamla Market Roundabout
- Asaf Ali Road: From Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate
- Bahadurshah Zafar Marg: From Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk
Entry Gates and Access Points at Stadium
Spectators have been asked to use designated entry gates to avoid crowding:
- Gate Nos. 1 to 8: Access via Bahadurshah Zafar Marg
- Gate Nos. 10 to 15: Entry from JLN Marg
- Gate Nos. 16 to 18: Accessible via Bahadurshah Zafar Marg near the Petrol Pump
Parking & Public Transport Arrangements
To ease the pressure on road traffic, the Delhi Police has also provided free parking and park and ride facilities at the following locations: Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road and Velodrome Road.
Additionally, designated taxi pick-up and drop-off points will be operational near the venue to vehicular movement and assist spectators.
