On October 27, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled a 15-member squad for the upcoming limited-overs series against Australia. Among the players returning are Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, all of whom had taken a break during the final two Tests against England. However, it’s notable that these star players will also be rested for the Zimbabwe tour. While the squad has been announced, the captaincy for these tours has not yet been announced.This has raised a significant question: who will take Babar Azam's place?

In recent days, speculation has intensified regarding Mohammad Rizwan's likelihood to lead the side. As per the reports, PCB is poised to appoint Rizwan as the captain. This decision follows Babar Azam's resignation from his captaincy position earlier this month.
