Indian women's cricket team showcased a stellar performance against Bangladesh, clinching a remarkable 5-0 series whitewash. This triumph not only secured their dominance on the field but also propelled several Indian players up the ICC Women's T20I rankings.

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, displaying her skills with the bat, ascended three places to claim the 13th spot in the T20I batters list, bolstered by her impressive tally of 105 runs throughout the series. 

Following her unbeaten knock of 28* in the final match, Richa Ghosh surged two places to secure the 23rd position.

The bowling department witnessed a commendable rise as well, with Radha Yadav elevating seven spots to reach 23rd place, while Titas Sadhu climbed an impressive 18 rungs to settle at 60th position in the rankings. 

India's remarkable performance comes just months ahead of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024, indicating their formidable form and readiness to compete at the highest level.

Meanwhile, England's cricketers also made significant strides in the rankings following their victory over Pakistan. Skipper Heather Knight rose four places to secure the 18th spot among T20I batters, supported by her impactful innings of 49 runs.

Amy Jones, England's star wicketkeeper, was named Player of the Match for her blistering 37 runs and exceptional performance behind the stumps, propelling her three places up to 26th position in the T20I batting rankings.

In the bowling arena, Sarah Glenn's four-wicket haul propelled her two places up to fourth, while Lauren Bell achieved a career-high rating after gaining four spots to secure the seventh position.

Sri Lanka's Chamari Athapaththu shone bright, climbing two spots to join seventh among T20I batters and ascending to fifth in the all-rounder rankings after her stellar performances in the T20 World Cup Qualifier.

The recent rankings reflect the stellar performances and the rising dominance of Indian women's cricket on the international stage, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive T20 World Cup 2024.
