After the Champions Trophy, the cricket world has home back to its normal schedule as the fans are enjoying a thrilling T20I series between New Zealand and Pakistan. After a heartbreaking defeat in the Champions Trophy final, the Kiwis are back in domination.

After giving a great start to the series, the Kiwis continued their dominating form and delivered top-notch performance. Their A-game paid off, earning them a well-deserved boost in the ICC T20I rankings.

Seifert And Allen’s Big Boost In ICC Rankings

After wrapping up the Champions Trophy 2025, New Zealand is facing Pakistan on their home soil. As the tour started with a thrilling five-match T20I series, the Kiwis gave an explosive start with a dominating win. In the first T20I, Tim Seifert and Finn Allen played a crucial role with their knocks of 44 and 29 runs.

In the second T20I match, the duo continued their valuable contribution to the team. Seifert added 45 runs and Finn Allen played an explosive knock of 38 runs in 16 balls. Their stellar performances didn’t go unnoticed as Seifert surged to the 13th spot, while Allen climbed to 18th in the ICC rankings.

Jacob Duffy Climbs Higher In The Rankings

Just not with the bat, the Kiwis dominated the Men in Green with their bowling brilliance. Among all the Kiwi bowlers, Jacob Duffy grabbed the limelight with his bowling magic. In the first T20I, he shattered the Pakistani batting lineup with an outstanding 4-wicket haul while conceding just 14 runs.

Even in the second match, he kept the domination alive as he secured two crucial wickets of Hasan Nawaz and Shadab Khan. His efforts paid off in style, as the Kiwi pacer soared 23 spots in the ICC rankings, securing the 12th position.

Haris Rauf is the lone warrior from the Men in Green’s side as he four places and reached to the 26th spot of the ICC T20I bowler’s ranking. West Indies bowler Akeal Hosein is still hosting the first spot of the rankings.
