MI Players Cheers For Women’s Team During WPL Eliminator

With the victory, MI-W has qualified for the finals of the tournament. While the on-field action was thrilling, what stole the limelight was the rousing celebration from MI's men's team members, Hardik Pandya, Tilak Varma, and Kieron Pollard, who cheered on their women’s counterparts in the stands.

A video shared by Mumbai Indians on social media shows Hardik, Tilak, and Pollard cheering on the women’s team throughout the game, celebrating every key moment with enthusiasm.

They were also joined by owner Akash Ambani as the entire team donned MI’s WPL kit to show their support.

But one interesting omission from the viral video was ex-MI captain Rohit Sharma, since he has yet to report for the camp in the IPL 2025 season.

MI Women’s Dominant Season In WPL 2025

Mumbai Indians Women have been a team to be reckoned with this WPL season, outplaying oppositions consistently. Their well-rounded team and aggressive style of play led them to dominate the league, standing at second position on the points table with five wins in eight matches.

With this win, MI Women have taken one step towards a second WPL title, and their male counterparts will be hoping to do the same in IPL 2025, which is starting on March 22.
