First-Ever Test Player From St Kitts To Debut As Windies Drop Their Playing XI For Anderson's Farewell Game

On Tuesday, July 9, West Indies dropped in their playing XI for the first Test match against England on July 10 at Lord's. 

For the upcoming red-ball game, which will be James Anderson's last game for England, the Three Lions have already named their playing XI.

In the latest events, the Kraigg Brathwaite-led side have also revealed their playing XI giving debut to opening batter Mikyle Louis, who becomes the first cricketer from St Kitts to play red-ball cricket for West Indies. 

Jayden Seales, Shamar Joseph, and Alzarri Joseph will lead the bowling line-up, while veteran Jason Holder is also named in the playing XI.  Gudakesh Motie will be the lone proper spinner in the playing XI. 

In the batting department, skipper Brathwaite will open for Windies, while Kirk McKenzie, Alick Athanaze, and Kavem Hodge will highlight the middle-order.
