The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the Men's T20I Team of the Year and it seems that fans are in massive disagreement with it's composition. The team is led by Rohit Sharma and features three more Indians- Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh.
However, it does not include Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav and a surprise addition to the list is Pakistan's Babar Azam. Despite his match-winning knock in the final of the T20 World Cup in June, Virat Kohli doesn't find a place in the curated team.
In 2024, Babar played in 24 T20I matches and accumulated 738 runs with no centuries. This has sparked widespread debate on Twitter where fans have taken a hilarious dig at Babar Azam's inclusion in the team. Fans have shared there take on ICC's decision by sharing some funny memes online.
