Fairy Tale! Kane Williamson Reunites With Ex-SRH Mate David Warner In PSL 2025

In the ongoing draft for PSL 2025, former New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson is all set to make his PSL debut as he has been picked up by Karachi Kings in the supplementary category. It is worth noting that Williamson, who placed himself in the platinum category, had gone unsold and was only picked in the supplementary category. 

The fans were elated after hearing the news of Williamson coming to Karachi, as it also meant reuniting with David Warner, who was also bought by the Kings in the platinum category. 

David Warner and Kane Williamson Played Together At SRH

It is worth noting that Warner and Williamson had formed a great pair when they represented Sunrisers Hyderabad in the initial years of the franchise. Further, the two were part of the history when SRH lifted their first and only IPL title in 2016.

Warner and Williamson remained at SRH till IPL 2021, scripted several great moments. Now the two will also share the dressing room for Karachi and eye a similar outcome as they had during their SRH days. 

David Warner And Kane Williamson Both in Top Form

The two veterans are in top form in the shortest format of the game. Warner is playing in the BBL, where he is the leading run-getter with 324 runs in eight matches, averaging 54. He also has three fifty-plus scores and looks in great touch. 

Meanwhile, Williamson, who is busy featuring for Durban's Super Giants in SA20 2025, is also in solid touch. He played a solitary match and scored a blistering fifty-plus score in the match against Pretoria Capitals.
