Rajat Patidar is one of the most consistent cricketers in Indian domestic circuit and has done well for RCB in the last three years. He is also in line to lead Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 2025 edition, but things very pretty different few years back.
In the 2022 mega auction, Rajat Patidar went unsold and his family has planned his wedding on May 9. He was supposed to get married to a girl from Ratlam and the hotel was also booked for the wedding function in Indore. However, things changed drastically when Rajat Patidar was called up by Royal Challengers Bengaluru as a replacement of injured Luvnith Sisodia according to The New Indian Express.
"We have chosen a girl from Ratlam for him. The plan was to get him married on May 9. It was supposed to be a small function and I had booked a hotel too in Indore," Manohar Patidar, Rajat's father told to New Indian Express.

The right-handed batter from Madhya Pradesh delivered immediately and became the first uncapped player in IPL to score a century in playoffs. He became an integral part of RCB's line-up in the following season, and his marriage took the backseat. Now with 2025 season approaching, Rajat Patidar is not still married and has also played Test cricket and an ODI for India.
Also, before May 2025, Rajat's family had plans of marrying him around Diwali 2022, but it never materialised as he rose through the ranks of Indian cricket. The right-handed batter recently led Madhya Pradesh to the final of Syed Mushtaq Ali and scored tons of runs under pressure and could be seen in Indian colours again.
