ENG-W vs SA-W | 3rd T20I | England Women win to complete a clean sweep

In the final match of the T20I series, England won the toss and decided to bat first. With it the three lionesses won the game by 38 runs and completed a clean sweep of the T20I series.

A glimpse into the England’s batting heroics

A common name in the England batting lineup Sophie Eccelestone single handedly paved the way for a whitewash series. Her 12 ball 33 run stint pushed the team to a 176. Alice Capsey, a 17 year old, playing just her 2nd international game hit four 4s in a row to keep the scoreboard blazing.

Ecclestone also came through with two wickets, while debutant Freya Kemp scalped another two.

For South Africa, it was Nonkululeku Mlaba who kept the fire burning with 3 wickets in 4 overs.

The Proteas batter Tazmin Brits scored a phenomenal 59 off 57, but alas her efforts went into vain.
