Young wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel has recently made his debut for the Indian team during the third Test match against England. Jurel played a stunning knock of 46 runs in his maiden Test match and hasn’t looked back since his first innings.

Dhruv Jurel’s stunning debut recently sparked a new debate as India awaits the comeback of their star wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant.

As per a close source of the BCCI, Jurel will not lose his spot even when Rishabh Pant returns to the Indian Test setup as stated by InsideSport.

Dhruv Jurel, who made a dreamy debut, missed a well-deserving century in the fourth Test as he got dismissed at 90 by Tom Hartley. But, poetic justice was served as he smashed the winning runs for India in Ranchi.

With the keeping duties, Dhruv Jurel was did a smashing job, making only a few errors - which is remarkable for a 23-year-old, who is just two Test matches old in the international arena.

Even the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma could not shy of praising the upcoming keeper as he celebrated Jurel's debut performance by citing "yeh aaj kal ke bache!"
