Dhoni Doesn't Follow Back Kohli On Instagram; Is There A Rift Between CSK And RCB Legends?

MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are two legends of Indian cricket, and have played a big role in Indian cricket's success in the last two decades. MSD has retired now, but his bond with Virat Kohli still stays intact, and both are often seen praising each other.

Virat Kohli has often mentioned how MS Dhoni has always supported him through thick and thin. Both have been part of some memorable Indian wins, and together have formed a deadly combination. However, one interesting fact is that MS Dhoni does not follow Virat Kohli on Instagram while Kohli does.

Is The Bond Between MS Dhoni And Virat Kohli Cracking Up?

It has raised eyebrows among the fans about the possible rift between the two. However, all these speculations are completely baseless. MS Dhoni does not use Social media much and only follows four people from his official Instagram ID. It includes his wife Sakshi, his daughter, Ziva Dhoni, eeja farms and Amitabh Bachchan.

So, he doesn't even follow CSK or other big people on Instagram, and it shows that he believes in more human-to-human connection than followings on social media. Virat Kohli and rest of the people who know him also would be aware of this trait. 

Thus, social media following doesn't make any difference when there is real connection between the two people. Interestingly when Virat Kohli left Test captaincy, he revealed that it was only MS Dhoni who personally called him and wished him for the future. Thus, Kohli and Dhoni enjoy great bond, and the battle between the two is expected to attract lot of attention when CSK take on RCB in IPL 2025.
