Rishabh Pant-Marcus Stoinis Unites In Lucknow
Meanwhile, Ekana Stadium in Lucknow is set to host an exciting clash between PBKS and LSG on April 1. Both teams assembled at the venue for their practice session earlier today where Risbhabh Pant met his old Delhi teammate, Marcus Stoinis.
The duo shared a warm hug and had a chat with smiles all over their face. LSG posted the video of their meet-up on social media, earning fans’ love.
Stoinis and Pant used to play for DC together in the 2020 and 2021 IPL seasons before the Australian all-rounder moved to LSG in 2022. Now that Pant has moved to LSG, Stoinis was sold to PBKS during the mega auction for a whopping price of INR 11 crore.
The next match is a thrilling encounter as LSG and PBKS both come in after massive victories in their last encounters.
Rishabh Pant Yet To Justify His Price Tag
LSG captain Rishabh Pant is facing heavy criticism from fans after recording two consecutive failures in the IPL 2025 season. Pant, who became the most expensive player in IPL history after LSG splashed INR 27 crore on him in the mega auction, has so far failed to justify his hefty price tag so far.
Pant started his IPL 2025 campaign on a disastrous note, getting dismissed for a duck in LSG’s opening game against Delhi Capitals. The left-hander had a chance to redeem himself against Sunrisers Hyderabad, but his struggles continued as he managed just 15 runs off 15 balls before throwing his wicket away.
