CSK vs KKR | Conway Smashes Fourth Successive Fifty; Joins Elite Club

Devon Conway is known for his consistency for New Zealand all over the world and the same ability to deliver consistently brought him in CSK setup in the 2022 season. Now, in the 2023 season, the man is repaying all the faith that CSK management has put in him. He has joined the elite club by smashing four consecutive fifties and achieved that feat against KKR in the ongoing 33th game of IPL 2023 between CSK and KKR.

Conway has also now moved to the second spot in the leading run-getters list this season and is looking in supreme touch. His four fifties have come against - Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders and has been the major reason for CSK's success this year. His latest fifty against KKR came in just 34 balls and with this fifty he has joined the illustrious list of batters like Faf du Plessis, Kane Williamson, Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan, Shikhar Dhawan who have scored four fifties in a row in IPL. He is the sixth player to achieve this feat in IPL.

Conway, however, departed on 56 in the 13th over when Varun Chakaravarthy got the better of him with his mystery skills. At the time of writing, CSK are 123-2 at the end of 13 overs.
