Riyan Parag has been the talk of the town, but not for good reasons. Despite heading into the IPL 2023 in-form, the Rajasthan Royals all-rounder is struggling to convert his domestic success into the lucrative league. And, before Rajasthan's clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore, an old video of Parag from IPL 2022 went viral, where the youngster got into a brawl with Harshal Patel and Mohammed Siraj.

During last year's IPL, the 21-year-old smashed a match-winning 56* off 31 deliveries, where he heaved Harshal for two maximums and a boundary in an 18-run over. However, post that knock; the RR all-rounder argued with two RCB pacers, after which the players and support staff members separated the trio.

However, another video of the Assam cricketer has been making headlines online, where Parag has been seen rectifying the issue.

According to the youngster, it all began in IPL 2021, when Harshal dismissed him and made a gesture saying 'walk off'. Parag took it on his stride then but gave it back to the RCB death-over specialist as soon as his time came the following season.

"Last year, Harshal Patel had dismissed me when we were playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore. I was walking back. Then, he made a hand gesture telling me to go away. I didn't see that on the spot. I saw that when I went back to the hotel and saw the replay. It stuck in my mind since," the RR player said while being on a gaming stream.

"And, when I hit him (Harshal in IPL 2022), I did the same gesture. I didn't say anything, I didn't abuse. But, (Mohammed) Siraj called me and said, 'Hey, come here, come here'. He said, 'you're a kid, behave like a kid'," he added.

Over the years, RCB and RR have gotten into some fierce clashes in the IPL; but the former have got a 13-12 lead over last year's runner's up. On Sunday (April 23), both teams - alongside Harshal, Siraj and Parag - will be at loggerheads at Chinnaswamy for yet another crackerjack of a clash.
