Cometh the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) season, the demand for tickets surges, especially when Chennai Super Kings (CSK) play, as fans eagerly anticipate the chance to witness MS Dhoni in action. 

However, with the heightened demand for tickets, incidents of scams have emerged. 

In the latest incident, a CSK fan was deprived of his seat despite holding a valid ticket for the game between Chennai and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, as the designated seat did not exist.

Wherever Chennai play, the demand for tickets and queues only continue to grow longer and larger. 

Fans from across the country are scrambling to secure their seats for CSK games, eager for a glimpse of MSD, resulting in a surge in ticket requests. 

The overwhelming demand has left many fans struggling to obtain tickets, with some resorting to desperate measures to witness the IPL matches firsthand.

While fans hope for an unforgettable experience, an unfortunate incident unfolded with a CSK supporter attending the game against the home team.

According to the fan, despite booking a ticket, the assigned seat number was not found in the stadium, forcing him to watch the game standing from the stands.

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has been in the spotlight in recent days and for all the wrong reasons, following serious allegations leveled against the state cricket body by former Indian skipper and former President of the HCA, Mohammad Azharuddin

This incident of a fan being robbed of his seat will only create more problems for HCA.

Overall, it was a disheartening match for CSK fans. Despite buying the ticket, CSK fan couldn't find a seat, and the Yellow Army were defeated by the Orange Army by a margin of six wickets.
