CSK Announces New Super Kings Academy in Tiruppur

One of the most highly decorated Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK), apart from running several T20 clubs, is also working on the ground level with their various cricket academies.
CSK, on Thursday, announced the opening of the Super Kings academy in Tamil Nadu's Tiruppur area, which is around 460 km away from Chennai, and is located at Yali Sports Private Limited.
The top-of-the-art facility will be available for boys and girls aged between 6 and 23 and will begin in December 2023. The academy will boast of as many as eight pitches, which include four turf, two mating, and two astroturf, apart from having international-level flood lights.
CEO of CSK Cricket Limited, Mr. Kasi Viswanathan expressed excitement over adding a sixth academy.

"Our mission at Super Kings Academy is to nurture talent across Tamil Nadu. With centres already operating successfully in Chennai, Salem, Hosur, Trichy, and Tirunelveli; we are delighted to extend our reach further by adding Tiruppur as our newest location."
Director of Yali Sports Private Limited, Vishnu Govind also expressed his delight over the association with CSK.
"We are excited to bring world-class cricket coaching facilities to Tiruppur through our partnership with Super Kings Academy. Our goal is to uncover and groom exceptional cricketing talent from this region by providing them exposure to expert coaching methodologies and top-notch facilities."
The Super Kings academy was first established in 2022, and since then expanded overseas as well with a branch in London.
