Concern For India? Virat Kohli Bamboozled By Net Bowler Ahead Of 2nd IND Vs NZ Test

Virat Kohli and the gift of throwing wickets to the youngsters - a match made in heaven. Throughout his illustrious career, Kohli has played against some of the best bowlers and has tackled them with utmost ease.

However, when it comes to debutants and youngsters, Virat Kohli tends to gift his wicket away and a similar incident took place, but not during any cricket game, but before the India Vs New Zealand second Test match.

During the practice session, one of the net bowlers was troubling Kohli with sheer pace and the India great crumbled against him. The net bowler pitched the delivery on the middle and off as Kohli stayed back and gets beaten on the outside-edge as the ball castled his stumps. Kohli looked shocked, but continued his batting practice as he prepares for the Kiwi challenge.

There were also reports that Kohli was troubled by Jasprit Bumrah in the nets, which showcases that Kohli is not in his full rhythm ahead of the match.

Kohli, India eye big win against the Kiwis

After a shocking loss in the first Test in Bengaluru, Kohli and Team India will look for revenge as the second Test commences in Pune.

All eyes will be on Kohli as he looked solid in the second innings in Bengaluru, but failed to convert it into a big hundred. In a must-win clash, India need their most experienced batter to come good against the Kiwi attack.

Meanwhile, India have dropped KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav from the playing XI. The team have instead gone with a returning Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar and Akash Deep. At the stroke of lunch, New Zealand are 99/2.
