On Wednesday, August 21, India's star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal joined the bandwagon of cricketers raising their voices against the brutal rape and murder of a Kolkata doctor on August 9. 

Chahal posted an emotional message, where he demanded equal action for the accused and asked the authorities to break his bones and injure his private parts. 

"Hang till death? Nope. Break their legs at 90°, shatter their collarbones, injure their private parts, keep the rapists alive to feel all the horrifying torture and THEN HANG TILL DEATH," read a post shared on Chahal's Instagram story.


However, in the latest events, Chahal has deleted his post and it has started a discussion on the internet. The fans understand that Chahal might have been emotional and uploaded that story out of frustration, while a few are upset over him taking down the story.

Other Cricketers' Raise Their Voice Against The Heinous Crime

Recently, several cricketers took to social media platforms to raise their voices. Suryakumar Yadav had put out a post urging parents to teach boys to behave.
