The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) franchise will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final of the IPL 2025 season on Tuesday, June 3 at the majestic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. With both trophy-less teams making their first finals in nearly a decade, the tournament is set to witness a new winner (among the original eight teams) for the first time since 2013.
Seems like the impending blockbuster finale has gotten the entire Bengaluru buzzing with excitement, as recent reports indicate that the pubs and restaurants of the Karnataka capital are expecting a heavy windfall due to some big demand from local RCB fans.
Pubs, restaurants in high demand on IPL 2025 final day
As reported by livemint, partner at Long Boat Brewing Co. Vinay Chandrashekhar said that his restaurant is expecting around 800 people during the time of the IPL 2025 final, which is nearly twice than the 400 people the establishment usually hosts on a regular Tuesday.
Alister Braganza, Senior Business Manager, South at Impressario, also confirmed that his restaurant in Bengaluru is expecting a three times bigger turnout on the day of the RCB vs Punjab Kings final match than a regular weekday.
The report further confirmed that some restaurants and pubs in Bengaluru have installed giant LED screens for better viewing experience for the fans. Moreover, the restaurants will also be playing Kannada songs in between to attract local customers.
The RCB franchise qualified for the IPL 2025 final by blanking Punjab Kings in the first qualifier match in New Chandigarh last week. Under the leadership of Rajat Patidar, the RCB finished second on the IPL 2025 points table by securing nine wins from 14 matches.
