When champions bring home silverware, rewards follow. BCCI has stepped up big time and announced a whopping INR 5 crore cash reward for the India U19 Women’s team and their support staff after their historic ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 victory in Malaysia.

Led by Niki Prasad, the young guns played like seasoned pros, bulldozing through the tournament without dropping a single game. They dominated and sealed the final with a nine-wicket hammering of South Africa.

Nothing speaks louder than cold, hard cash and the BCCI is making sure the girls get their well-earned dues. With INR 5 crore set aside for the squad and support staff, the board has sent a clear message that women’s cricket is here to stay, and success will be celebrated and rewarded in style.


The team was a well-oiled machine, with G. Trisha leading the batting charts with 309 runs, including a Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament double scoop. The bowling department was on fire too: Vaishnavi Sharma (17 wickets) and Aayushi Shukla (14 wickets) made life miserable for opposition batters.
